Food Distribution Revised

Food Distribution Revised
Our Wednesday food distribution has been evaluated and changed. What once began as a table of food to pick up as needed, has grown into a line out the door. We realize the need is real. To be more effective we have developed a better strategy to meet this growing need. Below is the new schedule for our monthly food distribution as well as our Wednesday food distribution.
Effective Tuesday, March 9 and Wednesday March 10
Monthly Food Distribution will take place on the 2nd Tuesday of every month 10:00 AM-11:00 AM in the Gym. This is primarily a ministry to the community.
Wednesday Food Distribution will be available for pick up every Wednesday 5:00 PM-6:00 PM in the Gym. This is primarily a ministry to our MABC Family and friends. (There will be no distribution February 17, 24 and March 3) We pray as a Ministry Team that these changes will better meet the needs of our community and the MABC Family.

9Health Fair Volunteers Needed
|
9Health Fair Volunteers Needed
MABC will host the 9Health Fair, Monday, April 19 and Tuesday, April 20. The biggest challenge will be securing volunteers needed to staff this event. If you are a nurse, nurse practitioner, doctor, dentist or physician assistant and are interested in helping with the 9Health Fair, please call Sharon Kea at 303-690-9846. We need to know how many medical personnel we can provide. This will influence how many procedures can be done. If you are a non-medical professional and would be interested in volunteering to greet, direct visitors, assist with set-up or clean-up, please sign up at the Women’s Ministry Cart in the foyer.
Put this date on your calendar and watch for volunteer opportunities.

Hugs for Heroes

“Hugs for Heroes”
Collection for Easter
We are gathering items to send to our soldiers. Please pick up an updated shopping list of items in front of the Military Flag display in the Worship Center Foyer. Return the items to the table on or before Sunday, March 22. We are asking for Girl Scout cookies for this shipment.
In addition, if you have a relative or a close friend in the military deployed or stationed outside of Colorado, and you are a member of MABC, we want to know. Please fill out an information sheet at the same table, so we can include your soldier in our program. For further information regarding anything related to “Hugs for Heroes,” please call Dorothy Temmer at 303-856-3101 or Jan Rahmandar at 720-536-8764.

Disciple Now
March 12 - 14
$45
Disciple Now is a weekend of spiritual rejuvenation for students 6th through 12th grade. Our theme this year is “To Save A Life”. If you have or know of a student, pick up a flyer at the Student Ministries table in the foyer or in Area 51.
We are looking for adult volunteers for prayer, food, housing, recreation and transportation. There are students who would benefit from Disciple Now who may be financially unable to attend. Scholarships are always appreciated. If you would like to provide a scholarship, please use the pink envelopes in the pew and designate DN Scholarship on the envelope and check.
Prayerfully consider what God would have you do. If you want to volunteer contact Linda Savell or Chris Hayes at 303-344-0226. You may also sign-up in your Sunday School class in the Department Sign-up Packet.
