Arriving at MABC

Look for the guest parking signs located near the mail entrance. You will be greeted by an usher as you enter the building.  If you have any questions or need directions, they will be more than happy to assist you. If you have children, youth and/or desire to know of a Sunday School Small group to attend, go to the welcome center located near the front door.

The welcome center staff will be glad to assist you in any way to locate the best classes for your family. They also have a guest gift bag they would like to present to you.  The staff can also give you verbal or written information to help you know more about us.
Nursery for preschoolers (age birth – 3 years old) is provided for each service.

When You Enter the Sanctuary

Find a seat you feel comfortable in. You will notice two large screens on which information is streaming about upcoming events. The Minister of Music will start us out with a song or two then he will turn over leadership to our pastor, Mitchell Hamilton. Pastor Mitch will share some opening comments. We will then greet one another while the children come up for our Children’s Sermon. There is no identifying our guests, so everyone just greets those around them. Our Minister of Music will then lead the congregation, Choir and Orchestra to sing songs of testimony, praise to God, and songs of worship to God.

You will have been given a bulletin which has a large amount of information about the ministries of the church as well as the order of worship.  The words to all the songs will be displayed on the large screens, or when a hymn is sung, you can follow along in the hymn book.
The pastor will usually begin his sermon after this point with a relevant story or illustration that leads into the main Scripture passage. Our pastor usually preaches series of sermons based on Scriptural passages or topics with related Scriptures.

At the End of the Worship Service

Because we believe that God invites us to draw closer to Him, or become more involved in serving Him, the pastor will offer an invitation to respond to God publicly. If you sense a need to make your decision public, the pastor and other ministers will be at the front to talk to you and pray with you. If further assistance is needed, they will connect you with a trained person who will further assist you in your decision in an area that is still within the sanctuary, but is private.
There will be an offering taken during the service. This offering is when we give our money as an act of showing God His worth to us.  This money is used for the maintenance of the facilities, funding the ministries, paying salaries of staff, support staff, custodians, as well as funding missions (local, state, North American and overseas) so that God’s work can progress through this church. Usually during the offering, there is more congregational singing, special instrumental or vocal music.
After the offering, anyone requesting membership will be presented to the congregation.
Usually at the end of the invitation, the pastor will dismiss the congregation, but leave them with the option of coming down to talk to one of the ministers for prayer, counseling, or other decisions.

We hope you will honor us with your visit to our next worship service!
